Piran's GeoStory
SCORE's Geostories are dynamic pages designed to showcase local activities in our CCLLs. They are regularly updated by our project team and provide the latest information for local and regional stakeholders.
The Piran CCLL team is moderated by ZRS Koper and has the key goal of raising awareness for pilot projects regarding climate adaptation. These pilot projects are condensed to small-scale areas within the town, serving as excellent opportunities within the municipality to practice and build experience. The results and lessons learned from these projects can then be multiplied, upscaled and expanded in later stages of the SCORE project and beyond.
To better map and understand the physical characteristics of Piran, the CCLL team also developed the Piran GeoSurvey, an interactive APP through which users can pinpoint town locations regarding key geographical elements.
