After four years of collaborative work to enhance climate resilience in European coastal areas, the SCORE project’s ambition extends beyond developing nature-based solutions and digital tools. It also aims to create a lasting legacy by turning the lessons learned, research outcomes, and field experience into concrete recommendations for policy makers at every level (local, national, and European).
To support this, we are proud to present a series of policy briefs that summarise the project’s key findings and offer actionable recommendations to improve climate adaptation policies. Each brief is tailored to a specific governance level, providing targeted guidance based on SCORE’s experience working directly with coastal communities through its 10 Coastal City Living Labs.
By making this knowledge available, SCORE aims to contribute to a stronger, more resilient Europe, where coastal communities are better prepared to face the growing challenges of climate change.
