SCORE has participated in the massive 10th EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND TOWNS, organised by ICLEI and held in Aalborg on 1-3 October. Through an exhibition stand represented by Naider partners, the context, objectives and main results of the project have been shared with the attendees, aligned with the main keys of the conference: shared governance, integrated finance and cohesive transition. All values that represent the work being carried out within the SCORE framework in the 10 CCLLs that make it up.
Throughout these two days, many people (mainly representatives of local administrations, research centres and representatives of other European projects) have come to learn more about the project and we have taken the opportunity to share with them the free resources and materials that the project has developed: MOOCs, policy briefs, catalogues and other tools available on the website. It has been a great opportunity to raise awareness of the work done in the project, as well as for the exchange of learning and the identification of possible synergies with other similar projects.
It was also the opportunity to visit real experiences and transformation initiatives that have been carried out in and around Aalborg to mitigate, adapt and gain resilience to projected future climate change scenarios.
It was a pleasure to be able to participate in this event and share experiences and projects that help to advance climate adaptation in cities and territories taking into consideration all affected actors.
