Our SCORE project is featured in the new “Sea’ties Regional Report – Adaptating Coastal Cities and Territories to Sea Level Rise in the Mediterranean Region, Challenges and Best Practices”.
This report is published with the support of the City of Marseille, Plan Bleu and MedECC. The SCORE project and its Coastal Cities Living Labs (CCLLs) are one of two case studies presented in the report (see page 26-27). You can access the full Sea’ties regional report here.
Sea level rise is a particularly important issue for the Mediterranean basin, as well as coastal cities across the word, which includes CCLLs involved in the SCORE project. It requires for all stakeholders to work together and develop mitigation and adaptation strategies at regional and local levels.
The report will be presented on 12 November at 11:15 (UTC+2) during the COP27, both online and at the Mediterranean Pavilion.
The Sea’ties Initiative aims to facilitate the development of public policies and the implementation of adaptation solutions to support coastal cities threatened by rising sea levels. It is lead by the Ocean & Climate platform.
